The JBB400 has been developed to bridge the gap between polyurethane and epoxy tooling board.

The JBB400 features the following advantages:

• Cost effective
• Low density - excellent for producing larger models
• High HDT 120^o C - can be used for production parts
• Low coefficient of thermal expansion providing excellent stability
• Exceptionally easy to machine or hand carve - ensuring rapid mould preparation

Applications

The JBB400 has many of the benefits of high performance tooling boards but with a much lower density and ease of finish. It can used for the following applications:

• Master Models
• Lay-up tools for low and medium temperature curing epoxy prepregs
• Light weight coring material

• 1524mm x 610mm x 50.8mm
• 1524mm x 610mm x 101.6mm

(Other sizes available to order include 152.4mm and 203.2mm)

Bonding

Large patterns can be constructed from boards bonded together using JB EP 551A/B epoxy adhesive. The epoxy adhesive is capable of meeting the mechanical and thermal properties of the tooling board.
