John Burn sponsor final year students project by supplying the new SikaBlock^® M650 modeling board to machine final model of Cape Town landscape. The final result was good enough to scoop the top prize at the end of year show.

A group of final year students, Unit 17, lead by Niall McLaughlin and Yeoryia Manolopoulou scooped first prize at the prestigious end of year show with their landscape of Cape Town entitled ‘The Recovery of the Real’. The Barlett School of Architecture is widely regarded as one the best in the UK and Unit 17 explored the brief by questioning the extent to which students tend to depend on subjectivity, narrative and the figurative.
